We're having a....baby!
Holly is going to have to learn to share her clothes....
Because WE'RE HAVING A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And (perhaps) more importantly, the baby has everything it (she!) is suppose to and looks to be healthy! Everything checked out! Full formed spine! No water on the brain! 4 chambered heart! Legs! Arms! Healthy looking umbillical cord!
Wanna see the video?
Did you see the baby open its (her!) mouth? She swalled and yawned a few times for us before the recording started, but its cool to see her open her mouth wide on the video.
Wanna see more?
Wanna see pictures?
Too bad. I never made it to Kinkos. THe weather here today? COLD and RAINY.
But, the Ultrasound technician ( who was SUPER nice, especially since I am quite sure my appt was cutting into her lunch break) was 200% sure that it was a girl. She showed us the "lines" that represent the female anatomy and I could really tell. None of the pictures we have really show that, but we saw on when the baby was moving around.
It was amazing. And the baby was pretty active ( less active in the video-because hey! she doesnt care to hog the limelight...yet) So it was really (REALLY) comforting for me to see that she moves and kicks and looks healthy despite me STILL NOT FEELING HER. ( But I may have felt a few things today, but who knows). One reason I might not be feeling a lot yet is because the baby is measuring one week younger than my LMP and due date suggested. But I am SOOO going to still the original dates for my sanity. (June 26th! But realize that my baby will probably be born in JUly ( OH the HUMANITY!!!)
Am I completely and utterly totally excited ( and relieved) that it is a girl?
YES!!!
Congratulations!!! So excited for you guys!! Girls, girls everywhere!! Ok, was so excited didn't make it past the "it's a girl" part of your post. Gonna go back and read the rest now.

You seriously need to stop it with the cuteness on that post. You also seriously need to email me your address (I'm requesting in an internet-friend-non-stalker-sort-of-way here) because I have to send you a gift! It's just one of those things with me -- I love love love shopping for babies.
That being said, I grew up with a sister and it was just us girls. We loved it!
I'm SO excited for you!
Thanks! Im not commiting to giving her any sisters right now, but maybe she will settle for pug brothers and sisters...

p.s. Holly looks very concerned about that whole sharing thing. :)
Holly is not much of a sharer. I am sure I will still find time to spoil her to compensate.

Finally got to view the video..how fabulous! It is amazing what technology does! You are going to love having a baby girl! Of course I loved my baby boy too, but girls are there FOREVER! Congrats AGAIN!

Congrats!! Yippee for the girls!! You are going to LOVE having a girl, the fun clothes, the baby dolls, the purses. Just be careful, when they grow up they may have the tendency to ask for a "baby stister", as my 3-year old does almost EVERY DAY!! The pressure is almost too much to bear! I am so happy for you!
I am willing to give her an endless supply of female pug sisters...

I'm so excited for you! Girls are so much fun (I've heard). What awesome news... especially that she is healthy and strong. Now that you know your new due date you can probably anticipate to feel her a little later than you thought. I didn't feel my boy until the end of my 20th week. How many weeks along are you now?
By LMP I am 20 weeks 2 days. And the baby averaged exactly a week less.

I know I am super late here, but I just wanted to say congrats on the big news! Little girls are awesome! I know, because a) I used to be a little girl (now I'm a big girl) and b) I have a little girl of my own! So excited for you and Jason!
