Weekend Recap
Jason worked this weekend (two concerts with the Army), so our "weekend" was mostly Friday, on his day off.
We went to Walmart in the morning and decided at the spur of the moment to get Emma a little inflatable pool.
$20!!!
You can hook a hose up to a palm tree and it sprays water out!
Emma loved the slide. (although it really doesnt slide well)
I spent most of the time hanging out in the pool with her.
We set it up in the front yard for a variety of reasons. Mainly because Jason was planting some new shrubs and flowers .
Curb appeal her we come! (I'll take pictures when they are all planted. We ran out of potting soil. It will get finished Wed)
I dont remember the name of these flowers, but they come back every year. So they say.

Jackson hung out on the porch. In dreamy land.
With the perfect weather, the pool, the gardening, the neighborhood kids playing, I felt like we should have all been singing Patriotic songs. Ah, that's the life.
Looks like you had a Norman Rockwell kind of weekend for sure! That pool was a steal! Emma will get lots of use out of that this summer! Jackson looked like he was enjoying himself too! Your yard is really going to look nice!

FUN:) I wonder what Lani would think about that pool since she acts like we are torturing her when we give her a bath. LOL!! I love Emma's expressions in all the photos!

Ugh ~ our weather hasn't been warm enough yet for our kids' inflatable pool! *sigh* I just wish that we had something better to blow it up with. The slide on our inflatable pool doesn't work very well, either! Yours looks neat. Glad they had fun! That's an adorable shot of Jackson! So peaceful and sweet!

We got Miss E a little pool this weekend too, though it's not as fancy as yours :) It was in the 90s and we were all wilting. She LOVED it! I was kind of surprised, since last summer she hated getting wet.

Those flowers are Gaillardia, also known as Blanket Flower. They're quite hardy and put on a good show all Summer. Nice choice :)
