As you know, I take a lot of pictures. People, animals, and food. For every restaurant we've been to in Korea, I've written up a review on my blog and shared pictures. In April, Jason and I visited another Middle Eastern restaurant, and I reviewed it here. We dont normally go on daytime dates, but that day we did, and my food pics turned out excellent because of the sunny natural light streaming into the restaurant.
Well, my "go to" website for dining choices in Seoul is a blog run by a man named Daniel Gray, called "Seoul Eats". His blog has been a great resource for me. He recently was hired on at Groove Magazine in Korea as the food/dining editor. He posted on his website that he was recruiting good good pictures from restaurants around town for his June Groove magazine column. I sent him a few pictures from that sunny afternoon at the Middle Eastern restaurant, and he chose one of the pictures for his column!
You check out this post on his website and see the first article in his food and dining section. It's a collage of food pictures, that readers submitted, and mine is the bottom picture, the falafel sandwich.
Now, I realized this is kind of small time, considering I wasn't actually paid for my picture, BUT, I was given credit for my picture! My name and one of my photographs is in an actual full color 70 something page magazine! I am beyond excited!
I hope this is just the beginning!
